Carole Medford from Barbados says why she does not regret coming to AMEDS Centrum
2011-09-15 - Carole (Caddy) Medford, Barbados

English:

I am doing well, and I am walking without any help. My bladder functions have improved and I am sleeping much better.

Though it is a very long way from Barbados, I am so happy that I came to Ameds!

Polski:

I CONTINUE TO IMPROVE, MY ENERGY LEVEL IS UP AND I DON'T NEED TO REST SO MUCH BETWEEN JOBS.

Before and after the liberation treatment
2011-08-24 - Petteri Nieminen

- Couple words how is my condition before, and after liberation. Before I have much headaches, 3-4 times at week, I use walker, well, allt the time. I can´t control my fingers, writing was almost impossible. My hands and both of my foot was cold.
After, headaches is almost gone, average is only once on month! Walking is much better and stronger, mostly I use cane, sometimes I go without it. Walker is almost history. Fingerworking much better now, writing is easier, but not without problem. Hands getting warmer, so legs, but not so much than hands.

Putting all together, bad day now is better than good day before liberation. -

Immediate improvements
2011-08-19 - Pamela Pasemko

I just wanted to let you in on how wonderful the treatment has been for me. I immediately noticed improvement in my use of and coordination with my left hand and leg. I now have wonderful balance, no fatigue and all the plumbing works great. My left hand that I couldn't really use much, is almost perfect again and I can walk long distances and even run a little already. I feel like I caught a miracle. Feel free to share this testimonial. Miracles can happen
2011-08-11 - Petteri Nieminen

Today, 11.8.2011 is precisely gone 1 year when I was operated on Ameds. This last year has been most unbelievable time of my life, results speaks for themselves. Before my liberation I was take a stand what my life is going to be, and I don´t expect any miracles anymore. But I was wrong. Miracles can happen, and I´m so happy to have one of them!

Thank you Ameds people, for you I got a large part of my life back.

-I miss you a lot, hopefully see you all again-

2011-08-10 - Lena Ollas Gustafsson

Lena has recently celebrated her first anniversary of the CCSVI treatment performed at AMEDS Centrum in 2010. A year later she continues to feel amazing. The control tests showed no restenosis.

The procedure changed her life, but it was just the beggining of the long way. Lena decided to share her experience and thoughts with others - you can read her full story here.

A video of a journey that changed her life is available at: http://youtu.be/mYMN1cBggqQ.

Heather Kaute about her daughter
2011-06-08 - Lowenna Kaute

2011-06-08

(...) I will get around to writing  a report, detailing her past symptoms and difficulties one of these days!  But, for now, I would like to thank the surgeon in particular for carrying out the procedure and taking time to explain things to us before and afterwards.  It makes such a difference, having someone take time for you to discuss various issues.  I know Lowenna was very impressed by his relaxed attitude - especially playing Rolling Stones music in the background during the procudure!  Taida was very kind to me and nothing was too much trouble, even when I called her on Palm Sunday!  The nurses, Ola and Richard and the other guy, whose name I have forgotten (sorry) were kind and helpful, as always.  Your hospital is clean and run very efficiently.  Thank you.

2011-03-09

Lowenna has been so much better since October.  She has put on some weight and looks a much better colour.  There have been so many positive benefits since the procedure.  She does her own shopping, arranges appointments for herself and manages to do the housework.  She goes to the gym regularly and does yoga once a week.  I can't tell you how much better she is!  Thank you.

I got my life back - Odzyskałem swoje życie
2011-06-08 - Stig Granfors

English:

I have noticed improvements in regards to my fatigue. Slowly I am getting  more energy and I am sleeping so much better now. I am sleeping 7-8  hours per night now when I used to sleep 4-5 hours before the CCSVI-procedure.

So I just want to thank the whole team at AMEDS for giving me my life back!

Polski:

Widzę poprawę w kwestii zmęczenia. Stopniowo mam coraz więcej energii, no i dużo lepiej teraz sypiam.

Zabieg to dopiero początek - The treatment is just a beginning -
2011-06-03 - Marek Sadowski

Polski:

Dziś wstaję o 5.20. Siedem dni w tygodniu jeżdżę rowerem, ok. 15 km.  (...) Zabieg angioplastyki żył szyjnych to dopiero początek – start.

English:
Nowadays I wake up at 5.20. Seven days a week I ride my bike round 15 km. (...) Were it not for the treatment, I would be very close to the wheelchair, not such physical efficiency, I have currently. The vein angioplasty treatment is just a beginning – a starting point. The rest depends on ourselves, how we use it. Personally, I want to use the opportunity to return to health, because I know that my wife wants to have a healthy husband and my children a healthy father.
