Before he became Head of the Clinical Ward of Cardiovascular Diseases Diagnosis in Grodzisk Mazowiecki Western Hospital in 2009, he worked as an Invasive Cardiology Consultant in the "Allenort" Cardiology Clinic and the Military Institute of Medicine in Warsaw. His many years of experience were earned as an independent cardiologist and as an interventional cardiologist while working at the Cardiology Clinic of the Central Clinical Hospital of the Military Medical Academy of Warsaw, located at Szaserów Street, and the Medical University of Warsaw at Banacha Street.
Maciej Zarębiński MD is an independently operating cardiology surgeon specializing in diagnostic and therapeutic treatments performed on coronary vessels: coronography, coronary angioplasty, implantation of the coronary stents, and the instrumental treatment of acute myocardial infarction. He also treats congenital heart diseases, atrial septal defects (ASD) and patent foramen ovale (PFO). Moreover, Dr Zarębiński performs implantation of vena cava filters in prophylaxis of pulmonary thrombo-embolisms and cardiac muscle biopsies. His longstanding clinical practice translates into tremendous experience in the field of conservative treatment of coronary heart disease, arterial hypertension, heart diseases and other diseases of the cardio-vascular system.
Before his medical studies he attended high schools in Libya and Malta. In 1991 he graduated from the Medical Academy of Warsaw. He acquired his specializations in internal medicine consecutively in 1994 and 1997. He has been a Cardiology Specialist since 1999 and obtained his Medical Science Doctor title in 2005.
Doctor Zarębiński is the author and co-author of more than 30 publications and convention speeches presented both in Poland and internationally. He actively participates in clinical research.
A Cardiology Consultant (Senior Assistant) at the Clinical Ward of Cardiovascular Diseas Diagnosis at the Independent Specialist Western Public Hospital, Consultant (Senior Assistant) at the "Starówka" Non-public Healthcare Facility and at the Independent Central Public Clinical Hospital in Warsaw.
He graduated in 1994 from the Medical Department of the Medical Academy of Białystok. Three years later he earned his first degree of specialty in internal medicine, going on to earn his second degree in 2000. In 2005 he acquired his Secondary Board Certificate in Cardiology.
Before promotion to his current position as senior assistant he worked as a Consultant (Senior Assistant) at the "Allenort" Cardiology Clinic in Warsaw and the Cardiology Clinic of the Military Institute of Medicine in Warsaw. He previously gained much experience as an Assistant and, later, as a Senior Assistant at the Gastroenterology Clinic of the Military Institute of Medicine in Warsaw.
He specializes in the endovascular treatment of peripheral arteries and physiological methods of evaluating blood flow disorders in blood vessels.
Since 2005 she has been at the Chronic Pain Management Unit at the Specialist Counselling Centre in Grodzisk Mazowiecki Western Hospital, where she specializes in different types of neuropathic pain.
She gained her experience in several clinics, hospitals, medical centres and hospices across the country. She has worked in different units in Gdańsk, Poznań and Warsaw, to mention a few.
Ewa Wojciechowicz-Owdziej graduated with her MD diploma from the Medical Academy of Gdańsk. She continued her education in Poland and abroad, gaining Diplomas in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Homeopathy and Health Care Management. She got her Master's Degree in Clinical Homeopathy from the Centre d'Enseignement et de Développement de l'Homéopathie Paris. Since 1999 she has participated as a guest member in meetings and lectures organised by the British Medical Association and Hospitals as a part of her continuing professional training. Since 2002 she has been trained in pain medicine and palliative care.
She is a member of the Polish Chapter of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP).
Graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw, First Faculty of Medicine. He was associated with the Department of Gastroenterology and Metabolic Diseases, Medical University of Warsaw. In 2009 he was awarded a research grant for study on the role of biochemical markers of bone resorption in osteoporosis management.
He co-authored the chapter in a monograph on the vascular complications of diabetes. He is also the author and co-author of various publications in a number of medical papers. He has participated in medical congresses and conferences both in Poland and abroad. He is a BLS instructor.
Dr. Paweł Stelmasiak has been with AMEDS Centrum since 2010. He is responsible for preparing and organizing AMEDS Centrum research studies. He also coordinates AMEDS Centrum cooperation with other clinics and participation in a multicenter research study on CCSVI .
Dr. Milczarek is an interventional radiologist affiliated with AMEDS Centrum from its founding. He specializes in diagnostic imaging of the vascular system.
In 1992 he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Warsaw Medical University. He received his radiology specialization in 1999. In 2005 he acquired the title of Doctor of Medical Sciences.
He has served at the Second Department of Clinical Radiology at the Warsaw Medical University since 1993.
Dr. Milczarek has also completed a number of internships abroad:
- Study of the techniques of thermal ablation in Innsbruck (Austria),
- Study at the Radiology Department at the university hospital in Graz (Austria),
- Study of the TIPPS procedure at a regional hospital in Metz (France).
He has also attended and presented at many scientific conferences and meetings covering all aspects of radiology and angiology. He is the author of numerous papers focusing on topics related to radiology.
Dr. Milczarek speaks English fluently.
